ATTN: Former Band Students

Dear Jeffers Band Alumni,

I hope you are all doing well! I am writing today to tell you about our upcoming Winter Concert. We can't have it in person because of all the restrictions, but we will be recording songs and putting them together in a video concert for people to watch at their own leisure over the holidays. This is a very special concert since this is the 70th year of music here at Jeffers. I am writing today because I would like you to be a part of it. I would love for this concert to feature past musicians and directors. I know many of you are still playing and making wonderful music... Please consider recording a song. You can email or share your songs with me on Google Drive. I will include instructions at the bottom of this email on how to do that. It can be any school appropriate song....It doesn't have to be a Christmas song.:)

If recording a song doesn't work for you here are other ways you can help:
-Forward this message on to other band alumni (I don't have everyone's emails).
-Email me back with any well wishes for our music program here at Jeffers. I will include them in the video :)
-Part of the video will be pictures of the bands over the years. I have some pictures, but I could use more. Please look through your old pictures and send me any that you would like me to include.

I would like to have the video put together before we let out for Christmas break, so I am asking for everything to be turned in by December 15th. I am really looking forward to this event that will showcase 70 years of great music and musicians!
