Summer Mental Health Services for Copper Country Students

Notice from Unite Wellness:

Dear Copper Country Community and beyond,

We hope this finds you well and enjoying the anticipation of the summer break. As we gear up for this period of relaxation and rejuvenation, we also recognize the importance of supporting students not just academically, but also emotionally and mentally.

With this in mind, we are excited to announce a special initiative aimed at providing free therapy sessions for students over the summer break. These therapy sessions will be offered by a skilled intern under the supervision of licensed professionals. Our aim is to provide our students with the essential resources needed for success in both their academic and personal endeavors, effectively bridging the gap during periods when school is not in session.

Key Details:

Who: All students of in Baraga, Houghton, Keweenaw, and Ontonagon counties
What: Free therapy sessions over the summer break
When: June 10th - August 19th, 2024
Where: 1014 College Avenue in Houghton, or via virtual sessions
How: Interested students can sign up by emailing info@unitewellness.org or calling (906) 523-7064. P

We believe that mental health is a crucial component of overall well-being, and by offering these therapy sessions, we aim to provide a supportive environment where students can address any concerns they may have and develop coping mechanisms for any challenges they may face.
